Figshare is a provider of repository software which offers a centralised digital storage solution for researchers and organisations worldwide. They had an established presence in the market and wanted to build on this further, moving the brand on from tried and trusted, to progressive and visionary whilst retaining a strong link to their existing visual identity.
By evolving the existing logomark, making it more prominent and using it as a standalone graphic device, meant that it became much more of a recognisable brand asset. Scale and space were used to create interesting visual compositions and integrating, linework, photography and motion with these helped to support the key topics and themes.
This gave the business a revitalised, modern and consistent look from which to build and shape into their new website, marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
